LifeCycle Wellness Co: Retail/Residential

Project Objective: Create an ADA commercial and residential space that reflects the needs of our two clients who own a cycling and cooking health and wellness company with an ADA compliant connecting apartment.

Concept: LifeCycle Wellness Co. will be a multipurpose commercial and residential space whose mission is to empower and educate people to live a healthy lifestyle through cycling and nutrition. Defined as an inclusive cycling hub, LifeCycle strives to make cycling accessible to everyone from anywhere especially during times like today. This dual commercial/residential space will act as a bike shop, café, and living space for the owners. Inspired by the vibrant, art deco culture of Miami, FL, both the residential and commercial space will utilize graphics and color to stimulate a lively environment.

 

Researched Topics: Aging in place, Miami art deco culture, LEED design, sustainable design, gardening for wheelchair users, cycling health benefits, and accessible kitchen design as well as other ADA compliant considerations.
